“Grazing Through” by Carol Lee Thompson

Did you know that Carol Lee Thompson works with the materials and techniques of the Old Masters, preparing her surfaces with lead and glue, grinding her own pigments, and painting with Maroger medium?

“Grazing Through” is one of her two recent works accepted into the American Academy of Equine Artists  37th Annual Open Juried Exhibition in Aiken, South Carolina.  The exhibit, which runs from September 15 – October 27, aims to showcase the finest display of equine artwork.
