CLAIRE CONANT

The beauty of landscape has fostered Claire’s lifelong passion for art. Though she holds a Master’s degree in Fine Art, she is largely self-taught and notes that her work represents the journey “to capture the beauty of an otherwise turbulent world.”
Her travels to Africa have provided new subject matter beyond that of the coasts and country sides of New England. A varied portfolio of oils has featured intricately drawn and detailed still lifes, as well as the rolling hills, meadows and harbors that fuel and stimulate a viewer’s imagination.
