Artist Katherine Evans joined our roster of artists back in April because we just fell in love with her artwork. Influenced by her mood and inspired by her environment, Katherine easily transforms blank canvases into stunning abstracts that are rich, vibrant and full of color. A cold, gray day drives her to begin painting with a cheerful yellow to lift her mood while the lime green of springtime leaves infuses her work with freshness and joy.
Orange, deep yellows, pink, periwinkle, purple, blues and greens combine to produce harmonious “jewel-like” compositions that tug at the edges of one’s imagination and spark feelings of contentment and wonder. Katherine’s work is a must see if you love fun, happy and energetic art.
